Did you know Pennsylvania vaccination laws have changed?
Get your kids vaccinated or they can’t go to school!

Pennsylvania state health rules have changed! Under the new PA law, parents must get your kids vaccinated by the first day of school. If you don’t do that, your child may not be able to start school.

According to the new rules, students are required to get a dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine before entering 7th grade. Students entering the 12th grade must receive a 2nd dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine. Children are now required to receive 4 doses of the polio vaccine.

PA law also requires vaccination against:

  • tetanus
  • diphtheria
  • acellular pertussis
  • measles
  • mumps
  • rubella
  • hepatitis B
  • chickenpox
